With over twenty-seven years of experience, Linda’s focus remains on her client’s individual needs, understanding that every client’s situation is unique to their life. This concept is the main component to her strategic plan for all her clients. She has an innovative out of the box thinking and creative sense, which has given her the ability to close transactions in all kinds of market conditions, even when other seasoned brokers couldn’t.
Linda entered the Real Estate industry in 1992. Four years later, she became an associate broker of Re/Max/Regal and received top producer awards for six consecutive years. After her six-year association with Re/Max, she was an associate broker with Time Equities Inc a Manhattan real estate development firm. In 2002, she founded her own Real Estate Company, Realty-Pros. She quickly established a residential and commercial mortgage branch office, providing services that would guarantee a stream-line, hassle-free, and flawless experience for her clients.She has closed 100’s of transactions in her career with testimonial letters from clients dating back from 1997, which she shares with her new clients.
She holds a degree in Business Administration and graduated Magna Cum Lade. Her education includes 20 years of real estate continuing education in subjects she believes would benefit her clients' needs, including Certified Negotiation Expert. .There are few Real Estate professionals with the extensive experience, skill and talent, who put their clients’ needs before their own, and working as a true fiduciary for their clients. Linda’s focus is to attain the best terms for her client’s needs.
Commitment to Community
A native Staten Islander, Linda cares about the Real Estate Community and her neighbors. She demonstrates this by volunteering her time to the Real Estate industry and neighborhood communities. In 2002 she volunteered her time to the Staten Island Board of Realtor. She resided on the professional standards committee for four years hearing ethic violation cases. After that, she was nominated and elected to serve a two-year term as Director on the Staten Island Board of Realtors which held 2300 members at the time of her service in 2004-2006. In 2008 when the Real Estate and Banking industries collapsed, she was one of eight NYC realtors chosen to affiliate in a foreclosure prevention program with the Center for New York City Neighbors, a non-for-profit organization created by Mayor Bloomberg. She volunteered her time in this program counseling, educating and speaking to homeowners on the process and the benefits of short sale rather than foreclosure. She helped many homeowners avoid deficiency judgments and bankruptcy through her expertise in short sales negotiations. She is currently still a certified and preferred broker for the Center for New York City Neighbors in their foreclosure prevention program.
She also organized events for Staten Islanders affected by hurricane sandy. Storming Back, was the name of this group of local professionals and vendors offering free advice to owners of damaged homes. Linda's most recent commitment to giving back to the community; was with an event she organized to honor cancer survivors. She celebrated their life with a fundraiser, music and dance performances. She organized this event with a fund-raiser, to provide money for education on preventing cancer in her community. She is a fifteen-year cancer survivor and is dedicated to bringing awareness to prevention.
Linda also authored a book “Survivor’s Instinct” a chronicle of her cancer journey and how she made decisions to foregoing traditional treatment. She wrote this book to help others affected by this disease. It was released the end of 2018.
